About Crawford Ker

Crawford Ker, founder and president of Ker’s WingHouse Bar & Grill, grew up in Dunedin, Florida and is a former college and professional football player.

Crawford began his football accolades at Arizona Western Junior College, where he soon became a Junior College All-American.  Crawford excelled and it wasn’t long before his outstanding performance as an offensive lineman attracted the University of Florida.  While with the Florida Gators, the team won its first Southeastern Conference Championship and Crawford earned more All-American honors.

Drafted by the Dallas Cowboys, he played six seasons and was voted to the team of the decade by the Dallas Cowboy Weekly.  He was later signed by the Denver Broncos and starred there in the 1991-1992 season, helping Denver go to the AFC Championship game.  After Denver he briefly played with the Detroit Lions before retiring in the Tampa Bay area.

Crawford opened the first WingHouse in Largo, Fl in 1994.  The Winghouse staff’s dedication and teamwork was a recipe for success.  Now, WingHouse has 20  locations throughout Florida with plans to grow into the rest of the Southeast.
